How scoring works

Every real-game stat is worth a fixed number of fantasy points. When your players step on the court, their points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers are converted using the values below. Your team’s total is the sum of all your active players’ fantasy points for that day or week. The system is fully transparent — no hidden multipliers. No real money is involved; this is for entertainment only.

Standard point values

Use this table as your reference. Positive stats add to your score; turnovers subtract.

Stat Fantasy points
Point scored 1.0 per point
Rebound 1.2
Assist 1.5
Steal 2.0
Block 2.0
Three-pointer made 1.0 (same as point; some leagues add +0.5 bonus)
Turnover −1.0

Example calculation

Suppose a player finishes a game with: 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, and 3 turnovers.

25×1 + 8×1.2 + 6×1.5 + 2×2 + 1×2 − 3×1

= 25 + 9.6 + 9 + 4 + 2 − 3

= 46.6 fantasy points

That total is added to your team’s score for the day or week. The same formula applies to every player in your lineup.

League types

Our platform supports two main scoring styles. Your league settings will show which one you’re in.

Points leagues

All stats are combined into one total. Your team’s fantasy points are simply the sum of every active player’s points. Highest total wins the week or the season. Simple and straightforward.

Category (head-to-head) leagues

You compete in separate stat categories (e.g. points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks). Each week you’re matched with one opponent. You win a category if your team has the better total in that stat. The manager who wins more categories wins the matchup. Strategy focuses on balance across categories.

When are scores updated?

Stats are pulled in after each real NBA game. Your fantasy score is calculated automatically — no manual entry. You can check your total and your players’ breakdowns in your league or contest page. Our platform supports both points and category leagues; check your league settings for the exact scoring and categories used.
